Sounds much harder than it is. An iambic foot is an unstressed syllable followed by a stressed syllable, and there are 5 iambic feet in a line of iambic pentameter poetry : short long | short long | short long | short long | short long short long | short long | short long | short long | short long Here's a Shakespearean example...

I can't imagine that Katee would have been overly subtle speaking in Iambic Pentameter as Sarah Corvus, but we'll never know for sure. There are some Spanks who would pay good money to see Katee's deleted Iambic scenes (if they were even filmed). Oh well. We'll get over it eventually. Anyway there you go Michelle. If you keep studying, by the time Bionic Woman 3 kicks off you might just about be able to keep up with Katee, at least when it comes to Iambic conversation. On a side note, I'd like to recommend "The Darling Buds of May" as one of the most uplifting, happy TV series of all time. The perfect thing to watch if you are contemplating slitting your wrists. Catherine Zeta Jones was in 'Darling Buds' and was an absolutely stunning teenager. Bitch. |
